I felt the same surprise you did. Her newer album is a little more crunchy, but still doesn't have a punk sound. I haven't checked out her early catalog; that might reveal yet a different sound. But then I watched and listened to Ms. Eleni's video and was stricken by the dichotomy I had created. Good stuff.
