Creative TreeHouse will be showing a screening of the Invisible Children‘s rough cut documentary this Sunday, January 20 at 6pm.
Invisible Children is a movement that aims to bring relief to war-affected children, by raising awareness and bringing aid. The documentary is their primary awareness-building tool.
Can a story change the world?
In the spring of 2003, three young Americans from California left in search of such a story. What they found was a tragedy that disgusted and inspired them. Come, and discover the unseen.
This film is fast paced, with an MTV beat, made for the young and young at heart. This wonderfully crappy rock-and-roll documentary is something truly unique. To see Africa through young eyes is funny, and heart breaking, quick, and informative — all in the very same breath.

The Invisible Children Tour will be coming to Pittsburgh this March. This screening is especially intended for people in the media and anyone who might consider organizing or sponsoring a local event on the tour, or who would like to volunteer to help at an event. Everyone is welcome.

Entrance: The Creative Treehouse entrance is located in the first back alley on Meade Ave near the entrance of the Magistrate. There will be signs on the sidewalk to point you in the right direction.
